How can I change my profile picture or bio?

Keeping your profile picture and biography (bio) updated is important for presenting yourself professionally to potential students. You can easily change both from your Tutor Dashboard.

Steps to Update Your Photo or Bio

1. Log In: Access your Turkish Mate tutor account.
2. Go to Profile Settings: Navigate to your Teacher Dashboard and find the main profile editing section, usually labelled "Profile Settings," "Edit Profile," or possibly "Profile Media" / "Personal Info".
3. To Change Your Profile Picture:
   • Look for your current profile picture within the settings page. There should be an option nearby labelled Upload, Change Photo, or a similar icon.
   • Click this option and select a new photo file from your computer.
   • You may be prompted to crop or adjust the photo.
   • Confirm the upload.

4. To Change Your Biography (Bio):
   • Find the text box or area labelled "Biography," "About Me," or similar within your profile settings.

   • Keep paragraphs relatively short.

5. Save Your Changes!

   After updating your photo or bio (or both), look for a Save Changes, Update Profile, or similar button, usually at the bottom of the section or page. Click this button to ensure your updates are saved. Your changes might take a moment to reflect publicly on your profile.
